About us

Welcome and thank you for inquiring about our medical practice! Dr. Williams graduated from the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 as a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). He is Board Certified in both Family Practice medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). He has practiced traditional medicine in both family practice and urgent care settings for nine years. In 2005, he changed the focus of his practice to evaluating and treating from an osteopathic perspective of health (Classical Osteopathy). He has made this change because of the enhanced quality of health care he can offer his patients with this natural, holistic alternative.

The medical science of Osteopathy is based on the following foundations:

1. The body is one unit with all its parts being interrelated and dependent upon each other for maximal health.
2. Optimal functioning is dependent upon proper structural alignment.
3. The body has an innate ability to heal itself.

The Osteopath strives to work with the body to resolve conditions of injury and disease and improve the quality of life for patients who live with chronic health conditions.
