Plains Regional Medical Center

Located in Clovis, N.M., Plains Regional Medical Center is a 106- bed medical facility that serves more than 110,000 people. Its services and departments include a cancer center; cardiology; colon and rectal surgery; diagnostic services; emergency services; occupational medicine; orthopedics; and wound care. Situated on a 15,000-square-foot facility, the medical center s radiology department offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical imaging and testing services, including bone densitometry, cardiac catheter lab, CT scan, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine and ultrasound. Plains Regional Medical Center accepts several insurance plans, including Blue Cross, Evolutions Healthcare Systems, United Healthcare, United Payors and United Providers. The hospital is part of Presbyterian, which is a private nonprofit health care system and is one of the largest providers of health care in New Mexico.
