Mercy Hospital, located in Devils Lake, N.D., is a 50-bed, acute care facility, approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. The hospital provides various services, such as cardiac rehabilitation program; critical care unit; dietetic and nutrition services; obstetrics, maternity care and nursery; and medical services. It also provides respiratory therapy and surgical care, and various support services, such as biomedical, business, accounting and payroll. The surgical unit includes private patient recovery rooms and post-anesthesia recovery service. The hospital also provides various home care services, including nursing, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. The hospital also offers hospice program for individuals who are suffering from a terminal illness. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency care to treat injuries and medical emergencies.
