Founded in 1984, Heart'sWay Hospice of Northeast Texas was earlier known as Hospice Longview. It is a community-based, nonprofit agency that provides emotional, physical, spiritual and social support services to individuals with terminal illnesses. The agency also offers a variety of personal assistance and hospice care services. Heart'sWay Hospice of Northeast Texas organizes various enrichment activities and recreational events, such as golf tournaments and holiday celebrations. It is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program. The agency is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Texas and New Mexico Hospice Organization.
